| Looking for a good food pub after moving our daughter into the area. Internet based research suggested this was the place to go. God bless the Internet. | Very cosy place round the corner from Orrell station, rather incongrous in this residential area. There are two main rooms, each with low ceilings and fires which creates a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. Usually a couple of ales to choose from- usually Black Sheep and a guest (many rare in the area, such as Fullers).The good value food is renowned locally. Gets busy in the evenings.
