The Red Lion looked promising from the outside and on entering the ale selection was reasonably good - Sharps Doom Bar, Hook Norton Nice Try, Uley Bitter & Fullers London Pride. The only problem with the pub was that all tables were set out for diners, which left nowhere to sit down to have a drink. Feels more of a restaurant than a pub on a Sunday lunchtime. But maybe there is a better set up in the evenings outside of food hours. Disappointing on my visit though. blue_scrumpy - 21 Feb 2017 20:10 |
