Has been refurbished and has reverted to its old name - the Three Tuns. John_R - 18 May 2017 22:26 |

Went there purely because of its Jack The Ripper connection - just across the street from one of the murder sites in Mitre Square - a lot of history here - but unfortunately rather bland.........upstairs is like someones front room - no soul. Oh well. adamwalsh - 30 Apr 2010 20:43 |
I agree with MW81. This place looks very inviting; sadly it is just the outside that lives up to that. The ale was bordering undrinkable and the staff attitude awful. The Boutique comment below I think can only be a description of its size, it has nothing else boutique about it. Dire, is the word Id use. truenortherner - 20 Jan 2010 13:38 |
This could be so much better. It seems to wander along thinking it has a right to take money for being there. It is a lovely building, inside and out, with the exception of the gents. The owner seems to have spent money on the fixtures, sadly, the same cannot be said of the staff, who are worse than useless if your face isnt known. There again, given the way they kept their beer, I guess they have nothing to be proud of. Bordering on the worst pub in the area and given the amount of bad places we visited, thats saying something! MW81 - 29 Sep 2009 09:33 |
