Takes a little bit to find but well worth a visit. Well kept beers and friendly service, sensibly priced menu, good value all round. catador - 18 Aug 2009 18:56 |
As reviewed, a friendly well run place with equal emphasis on decent pub meals and a sensible range of beers (I think the Nettlethrasher tastes a bit odd though). Great views and a good motorway stop as well. mtaylor40 - 21 Feb 2009 18:45 |
Well run pub in a very scenic location with views over towards Cannon Hall Country Park and beyond. Good walking area as well. Tasty range of beers from Elland Brewery and others. Decent if fairly plain (but also relatively cheap) bar meals. Thoroughly recommended. wppclarke - 15 Sep 2008 01:31 |
Good fish and chips and some interesting real ales including Elland and Nettle Thrasher. Staff were friendly. crillum - 14 Aug 2008 21:58 |
