We dropped in on a quiet Saturday lunchtime and it was peaceful enough and there was at least one real ale. There was a large piece of sound equipment standing ominously in front of the fireplace, so perhaps it might get a bit roudier in the evenings. If you are after a more traditional place there's the Cheshire Cheese a hundred yards down the road and a bit further in the other direction there's the Farmer's Arms. shouldersarms - 20 Jan 2014 10:38 |
Now called Sheridans and was much improved when re-opened with good ale but was in here about 3 weeks ago and to be honest I just wanted to drink up and get out of there as it was full of ''What are you look at's'' Worth a visit maybe if you are passing and the bar staff are friendly enough. alan508 - 24 Oct 2010 18:50 |
Not sure why this pub has been added if there is then no comment posted? Anyway, this is one to avoid unless you have an account with the local ambulance service. Magellan - 16 Aug 2008 12:16 |
