The last time I visited this pub was 18 months ago when there was one hand pumped bitter available, this time there was none. I visited the pub on a Friday night with my friends, two Poles and a Welshman. Most of the clientele were as rough as a badger's arse. One of the knuckledraggers at the bar was wearing an English Defence League t shirt. This made myself and my friends feel extremely uncomfortable; consequently we left, and we won't be returning. If you're a male, white moron with no taste in beer, this might be just the pub for you. Otherwise avoid at all costs. wormtruck - 16 Oct 2010 20:07 |
Popped my head in and was over-whelmed by the stench of fatty food. Very popular with the more senior crowd (during the daylight hours at least) with not an empty seat in in the place so obviously doing something right, but you are out of place if you just there for a drink. Will give it another try at a different time. Magellan - 16 Aug 2008 12:28 |
