Visited for the first time on Saturday on the 'Wirral Ale Trail'. A small converted shop unit. Uninspiring inside and out. However, had 3 ales available on Saturday. Can't remember what I had but it was well kept. Not a destination of choice but worth going to if you live local. wirraldrinker - 6 Jun 2016 14:53 |
No real ale but is friendly and welcoming. A locals' bar. founddrunkinyourgarden - 2 Nov 2010 14:22 |
Has recently had new ladies toilets installed. Nice friendly staff. Would have to dissagree with previous reviews. I would say that mississippis has a local pub feel to it (a rare thing these days) and makes a nice change to the ever growing faceless chain pubs that seem to be more interested in profits than the man who enjoys a nice pint. Worth cheaking out to make your own mind up. Great place for the football. Lively and enjoyable at the weekend. Dartking - 31 Jan 2010 14:23 |
Looks crap from outside and is worse once you get in , as previuos visitor suggested go the spar across the pavement it would be better. More like a members only drinking den Pygy - 14 Oct 2009 20:27 |
This is a very easy to miss pub - unfortunately I happened to find it. Situated in a small, concrete, bland shopping complex it does not look like a pub. Its more like a converted video rental shop from the outside. Inside it is fairly small & stuffy. Choice of usual well known keg brands & 2 large screen TV's showing Sky Sports. You would be better off going to the SPAR supermarket opposite & getting yourself a carry-out. happytyskie - 16 Aug 2009 21:12 |
