Completely closed and looks ripe for conversion into "luxury accomodation" or suchlike...which is a shame because the memories from when I last visited 10 years ago recall a pleasant and vibrant place. beer_dreamer - 28 Oct 2012 23:39 |
Sorry DaimonQ, used to be a good pub, now its not.....interesting - only one pub reviewed by you......do you still work there ??? millreef - 4 May 2011 15:41 |
Used to really like it here, good beer etc....Visited a few weeks back with a friend, there was no ale on so we left, we were followed out by two guys who had been propping up the bar who waited till we were a safe distance away before shouting "our pub not good enough for you?". There was only one answer...."no, its not". Sadly my experience seems to correlate with others recently. Shame. aberblue - 2 Mar 2011 23:23 |
We had a family gathering there one week ago, after a Baptism. The landlord is very accommodating & the staff very friendly. The beer & food are good. The dukebox is full of good music. This is an all round good pub. As for the other reviews, maybe people need to learn to be more tolerant of others, or stay at home. Afterall, it's a pub, as in PUBLIC HOUSE! agree with grosjam and millreef..went in tonight for the first time in over a year and most of the clientele were rough, rude and intimidating...used to be a nice pub, what a shame... 1pc - 22 Dec 2010 23:23 |
