| If you want to see an example of a pub that can turn around then this is it. The new owners have changed the feel of the pub by introducing comfy seating with a twist of retro.A must to see ! The menu is simple but how an English pub should be, there is blend of drinkers laughing at the bar and eaters waying up there many choices.We were torn between fresh Brixham plaice or Colins faggots (Colin apparently is the butcher next door) . The most refreshing thing we found was the staff were friendly with a feeling that they actually wanted to be there. If only we lived closer we could have tried there take away menu. | Empty most of the time. The landlord and landlady can�t get you out quick enough. They will happily put chairs on tables and clean up around you at 10:30. No atmosphere and unfriendly. Don�t bother. The Four Alls is a better bet. Roggers - 25 May 2010 13:30 |
