| myself and my wife dined here on sat 15th may and were delighted by not only the atmosphere but also the food. my wife chose the monkfish which was divine and i myself had the fillet steak with the red wine sauce which was cooked to perfection. we had a bottle of rioja, recommended by the waitress, complemented by two crystal glasses. the service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome by all. believe me i have dined in many top restaurants and for a small country pub to have such high finesse, really impressed me. Finally the restaurant offers an extensive choice of menus including a bar snack, dinner and a la carte menu.
