Although the previous reviews are from some time back nothing drastic seems to have changed in this trad little boozer. Bit quiet for a sunny Sunday afternoon though especially as it`s got such a prime location. Not much beer choice but yes the Banks`s is pretty decent. Blastbeat - 8 Aug 2016 09:39 |
Closest pub to the Railway Station right in the shopping centre.. Nice interior and friendly barmaid. Banks' beer adequate. Excellent choice of curry and chile flavoured pork scratchings available. Strange choice of evening entertainment advertised on the walls made us think that the pub had a different type of drinker in the evenings. villagefamily - 17 Apr 2012 11:42 |
Clsoest pub to the night entrance of the station. Not a bad town pub and was pleasantly surprised by the pint of Banks's. anonymous - 14 Feb 2012 10:33 |
Recently visited this pub whilst taking my pal on a trip of pubs in walsall. I must say i was pleasantly suprised. Nice pint of banks smooth, food reasonably priced, friendly staff and nice interior. Good start to the pub venture yamyampublover - 1 Nov 2011 16:02 |
Somethin's happened here since the previous postings! Maybe a change of management. Visiting relatives in Walsall, popped in for one. Only one bitter available. Indifferent barman. Wetherspoons roughest type of clientel were present ie baseball caps and a mad bag lady on cider sat beside me, talking to herself. Best avoided until they get a proper manager in!
