| I have been into the Folly since Eva and her team have taken over the venue, and I must say that I will be returning - and on a regular basis. It is so nice to finally have a Landlady who is going to stay - not another flyby-night Landlord and another closed pub. I am looking forward to their new home cooked Spanish food menu, and their DJ plays fantastic music on Saturday nights, ideally suited to the slightly older, more mature generation. All in all the Folly has become one of the jewels of Croydon/South Croydon once again, and its former unpopular image has been completely erased and is now a superb local with great beers, wines and spirit choices, great pub grub, great entertainment and most of all great atmosphere with no chavs, drugs, attitude or nasty hooligans. I recommend the Folly to anyone looking for a great night out at the weekends, or for a quiet drink and tasty meal during the week! Well Done Eva!� righttone - 25 Jul 2011 00:24 |
