New governor definately an improvement on previous ones. I have been in there for my lunch and there are a few hangers on from the Red Lion old days but on the whole the atmosphere is better. Went in for Karaoke on Saturday and it was lively enough although they are not going to be doing it anymore apparently, they are sticking to live bands. Catch 'Power of Soul' when they are down there if you get a chance. Excellent MegaDeeva - 2 Oct 2009 14:26 |
Visited a couple of Tuesdays ago and it wasn't as awful as it used to be. At least someone's painted the ceiling from tobacco yellow to non-tobacco yellow. Pint of pride was just average. Service was garbage - the one girly was too busy chatting to her mates to try and earn her boss a few bob. Would only visit if you had to. twineyboy - 16 Aug 2009 21:08 |
