| The Bandstand is a pub that focuses on dining and will appeal to familes, due to the childrens play and activity area that forms part of the premises � Fuzzy Eds. However, there is an adults only area if you want to escape the anklebiters. The food is cheap and cheerful, with all main courses on a two for one deal. | Turned up tonight after a drive from Newcastle. Arrived at 9.05pm to be told kitchren closed. Menu states Monday to Saturday 12noon to 10pm... Perhaps I missed the clockes going forward. Ordered a bottle of white wine, no chiller offered and better still no glass :))) then sat abd watched the three staff have their food until 9.40pm... Seems a little selfish... But think they are and they know who they are... Notice it scores low on this website... Bet it is shut this time next year... Poor customer service especially in the season of goodwill !!!!!!! Will never return.... So another customer lost.... Off for a MacDonalds... Ps when I left... There was no one in the place :))))) thanks guys..... Pleasure to be served by you...
