| Beer continues to be great here, not the most inspired of ranges granted but always great condition. I've never liked London Pride for years ever since Fullers changed the recipe (Fullers still deny it mind!) but after hearing one chap comment on it's condition tried it myself and it was sublime, not like the old days granted, but wonderful condition. | Not been in for a few years so gave it a try again. Nice interior, typical country pub finishings and found 3 real ales on tap in Bath Ales Gem, Butcombe & London Pride + Butcombe Blonde pasteurised on keg which went down a treat on a wet & humid evening - Thatchers Trad real cider also on but look for the electric pump and not the traditional hand pump when at the bar. On the negative side, it is rather food oriented with many tables being reserved for diners but the small & comfortable bar at the rear of the pub is great so long as there is room plus the welcoming site of a dartboard as well.
