| We dropped in here at 2pm on a Sunday, ravenous and too early to book into our B&B. Landlord and his wife were both really friendly and attentive. They served us a Sunday lunch which was simple, tasty, generous and piping hot - no suggestion of food which had been 'sitting around' all lunchtime. I know this is a beer focused site, but we had wine and the house wines were in the same style of service - just one of each colour available, but carefully chosen and not plonk.
