wow loving this pub hugely, cant believe there is a bad review!

this place has been complelty revamped and its the nicest pub in the whole of the tower hill/ wapping/ east london side.

great choice of music in the pub, loved listening to the likes of the rolling stones over a cold pint of ale, also the decor of vintage pictures and retro furniture makes a nice change from boring miserable pub interiors.

the staff at the pub are very cheery and extremely attentive, they actually have personality unlike some bars where the staff dont even speak english, they will recommend new drinks and generally have a giggle with you.

the drinks prices are amazing, where in london can you get a lovely clean pint for 2.80!!!!! all in all really love this place, i work near by and me and my work friends love that the pub is unique, if your looking to drink in a chain this isnt the place for you, however if you like something different and interesting then definently get down to the pepper pot.

I agree with winfnp, great pub, great atmosphere, great prices and our lovely puppy Luis make this pub the place where I want to return. Once you are there you will stay until they close as you feel there very relaxed and a pint for 3 - why not...

This is a great addition to the pubs around Wapping. My friends and myself have quickly become regulars. Met the owner a couple of times - a very switched-on guy who told me he hires the bar staff predominently on their ability to be welcoming and friendly with the clientele, which they genuinely are. It's a free house so the drinks prices are difficult to beat, and we all love what they've done with the interior, the atmosphere is always very genial. And they've even got a great pub dog! Can't recommend it highly enough.

This pub is great for groups of people. Quiet relaxed atmosphere by day but in the evenings it totally comes to life.

Young, friendly girls behind the bar who really make the effort to make you feel at home and valued.

We visited a lot over the Christmas period and the parties were fantastic. cheap drinks, good music, karaoke and generally a really good laugh. January is obviously a lot quieter but its still a great cosy pub to come for a pint and have a nice evening.

I am officially a loyal regular! GET DOWN TO THE PEPPER POT!

It's pretty quiet in that part of town, between Aldgate and Wapping, on a Saturday night, so I was glad to see the Pepper Pot had re-opened. At least it SEEMED to be open, but on entering we were made to feel as welcome as if we had strayed into someone's private front room. TVs were all on and showing a rubbishy US comedy and three student-y types (2 of which turned out to be the barstaff) playing Cluedo at a table. We are locals and we like a drink, but no way will we be going back to the Pepper Pot. I really doubt if the current tenants will last long there.
