We held my cousins 30th birthday party at Bobs Barn just after new years and it was a night we will never forget. Having not been to the Barn for some years, we originally fell in love with the location and beautiful surroundings but were amazed to see the transformation that had taken place inside! The dark carpets and pool table were gone and the barn is so stunning and elegant we're thinking of having our wedding there too now. We met a lovely south african family that had recently taken over and they took all of the stress out of organising our party, the decorations were beautiful, the dj was fantastic, the staff were so efficient and friendly and everyone commented on how perfect the evening was - infact we're still talking about it now! They have really brought a touch of class and sparkle to the barn and we cant wait to go back again! We pop by if we're passing for lunch as the menu is delicious and their south african pudding is out of this world!! 10/10 mummyone - 7 Apr 2010 11:58 |
Part of Aylesbury golf centre, this is the last pub on the right as you leave Bierton in the MK direction - it's hidden behind lots of foliage. You don't have to be a golfer or have anything to do with golf. Couple of real ales are on - Pride & Bombardier although they seem to have dispensed with interesting beers for the time being. Plenty of room to sit but avoid snooker table down the end or you might get the end of a cue in your ear. Booze_Allen - 24 Jun 2008 18:28 |
