| . I went on the opening week (Mothers Day in fact) and must say it was (for a Beefeater) superb. The food was great, the service was incredible, i've never had better service at this kind of establishment. there were two hand pumps but no ale on yet, so i let them off being the first week and all. I was overall very impresses. HOWEVER I went again last weekend and must say it was awful. The food was very low quality and small portions, the service was appaling, we were there for three hours due to the lacklustre efforts of the waiting staff, and there was still on ale in the pumps, they must be for decoration only. After such a great experience on what must be one of the busiest days of the year for it to be so bad on a normal quiet sunday afternoon was just unacceptable.
