| Four roomed unspoilt gem. Parlour bar to right, comfortable sociable lounge to left, with bench seating. Two further rooms to rear, with darts and pool. Beer was excellent quality. | I would like to agree with all the comments made by the previous posters except the one made by, perhaps my fellow United fan, about the music. It is dominated by far to much 50s/60s crooner type music. Other than that a great pub with some real characters. KstandRed - 25 Apr 2009 20:42 |
| The Red Lion is the best pub for miles,good service in comfortable rooms pleasant licencees and staff,friendly clientele ,wide selection of all kinds of ales spirits etc,and lovely music playing in the background,altogether a very nice pub. busbybabe - 31 Mar 2009 13:11 |
