| I must say what a fabulous job they have done on this place. I used to go here as a nipper with my dad which was 40 years ago. And was my local up until it closed down. I got told the other week it had been reopen so i went down for a littl peak to see the change, and its fantastic just what thornes needed. And they have just started doing some promotions HAPPY HOUR between 3pm and 6pm where you can get fosters and john smiths smooth at �1.50 a pint and 75p for half, and then theres the meal deals they have got on which include 2 meals for �6 on there day menu and if you buy two main meals of their evening menu you recieve a free bottle of house wine. Fantastic i think!! they have also started doing a quiz night on a thursday in which is a pound to enter! odd i thought and then realised if you win you get the cash jackpot which aint that bad plus other prizes to win it says.
