This is a fabulous pub, in an ideal location. The food is delicious, and the vegetarian choice is AMAZING :>) The crpes are the best meal we've had in a very long time, and the potatoes served with them are just as yummy :>) The service was excellent as well, served by efficient , and very busy staff :>) Well done, a great pub, with exceptional food for vegetarians :>) mupslup - 6 Feb 2011 21:49 |
This place is terrible - don't waste your time or money, go to The Watermill instead. awooga - 8 Dec 2010 09:37 |

Despite booking a table days in advance and ordering within a few minutes of our arrival, one our later we had still not received our food. Enquiries with the waitress revealed that there were a further five orders to be dealt with before the CHef cooked our order - another 30 to 45 minutes. Others in the restaurant were similarly annoyed having to wait so long. We left hungry and annoyed. Avoid this pub at all costs. helmsdale - 21 Jun 2009 22:19 |
When visiting family in the area we always go into this pub for a meal at some point. Went in there on Easter Sunday evening and there were a good few people in there. The food was excellent, the staff are very welcoming, service was brilliant and the toilets are always spotless. What more can you say about this pub? Apart from the location on the estuary which is stunning! If you're down this way pencil this place in, especially if you're a family looking for a nice evening meal. 5290bwd - 18 Apr 2009 19:00 |
