Cool and country, a quaint pub/restaurant literally on the edge of Greno wood's. The ideal stop off point for sunday lunch after a walk in one of Grenosides many historic or ancient woodlands. With 4 real ales to choose from and a super menu well placed, on the finer side of pub dinning. This pub is one of the reasons we moved to Grenoside. DamonHarry - 6 Dec 2011 16:04 |
Visited this pub a couple of weeks ago; a sign states that it is under new management. It had a reasonable selection of beer, decent decor and a sizeable (although rather unkempt) beer garden. I opted for an orange juice and was rather disappointed that it was not only rather dear but was served in a shot glass! The dire music - "Celtic" remakes of various pop songs - was enough to get me out the door pretty quickly. SheffieldMickey - 10 Jun 2008 00:51 |
