Seven years since I reviewed the place - time to revisit. The ale was sour and the bar staff didn't seem bothered. They were more interested in short-changing. Pay with a twenty quid note; get the change from a tenner... Will be another seven years until I go back... MankyBadger - 20 Jul 2014 08:02 |
Great biker friendly pub recently refurbished, beer now much better and more choice than before, seems to be becoming a top music venue with some great acts, good jukebox, not very busy daytime due no doubt to the resident pub bore who voices her opinions very loudly for all to enjoy. Worth a visit. boozer1963 - 7 Mar 2013 13:06 |

I lived in Hastings for about a year and I loved going to this place - genuine people, fun, a bit grimy but maybe that's how I like it! Good bands and love the jukebox - full of some good heavy stuff and it was old!!! I miss this place and when I come back n visit, this will be one of my first places to go to! zogdragon - 7 Dec 2009 21:22 |
The barmen are nice and the music is great. a historic little BIKERS pub with many tales to tell. The people are lovely too, don't be fooled by their leathers. They make you feel welcome and are great for conversation. Quite a safe pub too as its in the town center and the place is thriving on bank holidays and events such as may day and bonfire night.
