| Two post funeral visits here and each was wonderful. The first in November was unplanned but we had a feast of homemade soup and homemade bread, absolutely delicious. The second pre-arranged visit provided an amazing buffet, food to die for. Also an excellent bitter called 2.8, which, for a 2.8 was really good. | Called in here for lunch today, having heard some good things locally about this place. Was greeted with a friendly warm welcome from Giuseppe and Cinda, and this was followed by a fantastic Pint or 2 of Hooky. Despite being sub-zero temperatures outside, the Cellar temperature was spot on, as the beer was in excellent nick! Food-wise, it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Huge portions, freshly cooked, favourably priced....we are both very jealous that the residents of Harbury have this little gem on their doorstep.
