| Nice pub/bar split into 3 sections with huge open spaces in the middle near the bar area and seated area in very nice surroundings around the corner. This place is so large it could hold 200 people and you wouldnt know it. I really like this place to relax during the day for food however on a Friday and Saturday it can get quite busy. There always seems to be quite a wait to be served, sometimes bordering on reciculous. One day I waited over 25 minutes to be served a drink when busy. | pub is huge.i thought it was like 4 pubs in one .went in on a sat morn then again sat nite,was more like a club at nite.lots of ale taps but only a couple were on.in saying that was great atmosphere and would go back next time in durham. jb1912 - 20 Feb 2011 17:04 |
| Lots of beer pumps but few beers.Staff got REALLY nasty when I commented on this. The must have the rudest bar staff in Durham. There are far better places in the city. Avoid this one if you want a pleasant drink. fellwalker2010 - 17 Jul 2010 17:03 |
