| Now close and a One Stop store on the site. This was my first experience of a pint. Way back then it was a pint of Red Barrel for 1s (5p now) bloomin' expensive, lol. They had a bar billiards table in there and it must be worth a forune now. Went in there a few years ago and I must have had two heads or something! I live locally and didn't know a soul in there. They probaby thought I was copper os something as there was a lot of furtive movements going on. Shame it's closed as with the right management it would have made a lovely foodie pub.
