Joules Cocktails and Wine Bar - as this place is now called - continues to be very popular, opening late five nights a week. It has a niteclub atmosphere, and is where the young locals congregate - after the other drinking establishments close. croydonpeer - 10 Oct 2019 13:36 |
Been in here once for an indifferent cocktail served by a pleasant enough young lass who did not have a scooby about how to make cocktails, which is strange as that is what they are meant to be all about. As previously mentioned the place is very rarely busy and an urgent re-think is needed before it all goes tits up. kevmac - 18 Jan 2013 16:15 |
Yep, only busy week-end evenings. A bit of imagination/flair/enthusiasm is required fast - or the place will soon fold, like The Priory (previous name). wealdman - 21 Oct 2012 00:04 |
Only been there - early evening, after work. Nobody in the place, no atmosphere/bored staff, no food, no imagination, no future...... brewmason - 16 Oct 2012 22:10 |
Went in early evening....very quiet, but looks good. They have plans to do food, I was told - by the barman, on his PC. sussexfox - 24 Aug 2012 10:15 |
