| A real townies pub this one. Pool and darts being played as I popped in while waiting for my train. The landlord was friendly and welcolming.Said it was one of only 2 real ale pubs in Bridgwater. Cant remember what I drunk, though. The gents had the smallest sink I've ever seen. Couldnt get my hand underneath the tap and i've got small hands. | I dropped in here as I had an hour long wait for a train from the nearby station. Although I had intruded on their quiz night, was made to feel more than welcome. Very friendly landlord and landlady and a fantastic pint of Puffing Billy. Small but perfectly formed pub, well worth checking out if you're in the area. boxofrecords - 5 Dec 2011 14:16 |
