How can BITE give a score for a pub which has been shut for over 3 years!!! mcroyal - 12 Aug 2011 22:12 |
This is now a mini supermarket Robbie.H - 7 Jul 2011 09:22 |
Closed (along with all the other pubs in this part of town) and is apparently going to be converted to a corner shop - an application for an off-licence has been submitted, so instead of the "locals" having a drink in a controlled environment, they will soon be able to buy cheap booze and go swigging it down the street with all that entails. So much for progress. mcroyal - 13 Aug 2010 13:43 |
A lot better than previous (although that wasn't too hard to surpass). Opening hours appear erratic and some of the punters can be a bit on the rougher side. No ale, but enough Magners and low-grade lager to keep most of the regulars happy. Holds a children's disco on a Saturday, so at least they're trying to be a bit more community-oriented than previous. Outside of the place looks dreadful, why couldn't the pubco at least have painted it before it reopened? Quinno - 21 Sep 2008 18:11 |
