Went for lunch and the two burgers we ordered were OK but my rack of ribs was half frozen under a layer of hot sauce. Not thanks! Sent it back. Not impressed. twangothan - 2 Mar 2013 16:44 |
Went here for a new dining experience, food cooked by yourself on a 420 deg C 'hot rock' so no complaints about under/over cooking. Not the cheapest of places at 10-20 (fillet steak) a portion, but these are big lumps of meat! 3 real ales with an ever changing beers on show. Was a bit boisterous during our visit but considering the Champions League final was on and it is the village pub, everything was fine. As for previous comments ref charity event, I would have thought that was to be expected as people who do these events are all in it together! boforbill - 20 May 2012 20:45 |
Community pub in a small village not too far from Huntingdon. The pub was busy with some kind of charity event going on. Thai food was being offered to the partakers of the event, who were quite rowdy. We didn't feel quite at home, as we felt like we'd gatecrashed a private party. Beers were Adnams Southwold Bitter, Everards Tiger, McMullens AK & Greene King Abbot. 2 Westons ciders - 1st Quality & Old Rosie were on alongside their Country Perry. Looked as if it could be a nice pub when there is no function on. blue_scrumpy - 21 Nov 2011 20:14 |
