| Very sadly since my recent review I have now learned of the death of Charlie,the landlord, who will be missed by all. | Very friendly village local. Normally Adnams and Greene King plus one guest beer. Normally open all day and food served Tues to Sun lunch and Fri and Sat evenings. This is the best pub food in the area. Much friendlier than the nearby Shoulder of Mutton and Yare. Charlie is an excellent cook and a very friendly landlord. fcsete34 - 26 Sep 2012 14:37 |
| Excellent pub, friendly staff, good beer, variety of themes (quiz, curry night, race night etc.) Best sunday lunch in the area, way better than the Yare's Roast meat in a ciabatta is a winner if you can't manage the lot.
