I also was staying at the Cedar Court. Boddingtons ice cold fizz is not my cup of tea so on the recommendation of Splodge68 paid a visit. Osset blonde was excellent and the pub was a pleasant haven from corporate hell. The fish and chips opposite was very good and at £3.75 for haddock and Chips an absolute bargain. addlened - 24 Jan 2013 13:29 |
Ditto to last post. Copper Dragon was very good @ 2.95 a pint. Only other ale was Tetleys which I gave a miss. bjbrummiejohn - 17 Apr 2012 08:34 |
Staying at the Cedar Court Lodge Hotel the other side of the motorway, we found this pub easy to find, friendly locals and an excellent pint of Skipton's Copper Dragon. They do traditional pub food, but as we didn't visit it until late in the evening can't comment on how good that was. Failing that I did notice a chippy on the otherside of the road. (shut on Good Friday evening) Well worth stopping at if needing a rest of Junction 39 of the M1 Splodge68 - 10 Apr 2012 17:41 |
