went in on Monday night and only about 6 customers in,friendly bar man had 1 real ale on a fair pint of woodfordes wherry for £2.60.other nights I walked past they had a bit of crowd in there. hoppyal - 22 Jun 2013 17:19 |
Very pleasantly surprised by this pub. The new management should be congratulated in their efforts to get this pub back to its best. Friendly, helpful staff and reasonably priced drinks. I went in on one of their Friday music nights (in fact, I think they possibly have music on every night of the week!). I saw a great band called Polaris who went down well with the sizable crowd in on the night. I shall be returning for more music and beers. dougdeep - 23 Jul 2012 11:48 |
Yes, nothing wrong with this pub as far as I'm concerned. I like to go in on live music nights. It's good to see the new tenants make a great effort to build this pub up again. Give it a try. dougdeep - 26 Apr 2012 10:35 |
went there sat night and had a great time. The live music was very very good. The bar staff were also very good, friendly & quick to serve. And the mood was superb. But OMG the toilets, 3 of the 4 urinals were out of order with the 4th overflowing in the gents, and dryers out of order in the ladies, not good. railway1971 - 24 Apr 2012 19:08 |
Never went in July 2011, there seemed to be a real ale on looking through the window, the pub appeared clean and repainted from the outside markh737 - 25 Jul 2011 03:07 |
