Probably one of the grimmest pubs I've visited in a while. They even managed to make bland synthetic lager taste unpleasant, and had the cheek to charge inner London prices for it. Its rare I can't finish a drink I have paid for - but this was one such occasion. Very grotty as well, although I guess the emphasis is on hardwearing furnishing, given that it must get a fairly large football crowd in, and is a bit "Wild West" at all other times. If this was the only pub in the world, I would have no hesitation in becoming a teetotaller for the rest of my days. Hotfoot - 18 Jan 2011 14:13 |
went in yesterday post match - away fan! had no bother, beer was good and the fans and staff very friendly. loved the pics around the place. generally ok if your n away fan but obviously not if you've got colours on.... bolton71 - 2 May 2010 10:26 |
fairly grotty pub, but in a good way. Agree with nick ,the spurs pictures are great, some i havnt seen anywhere else. Guinness was good.Next to the now defunct Milford(my first local at football) aaaahhh the memories tottenhamsean - 31 Aug 2009 13:51 |
our pre and occasionally post spurs pub. Alright to get served and the beer is ok, toilets can get very busy though as quite small! southgateyid - 10 Jul 2009 13:38 |
Used this in the seventies and it hasn't really changed all that much. The Spurs hooligans gave any visiting fans a 'warm welcome' if they passed by. Some lovely old pictures of White Hart Lane in here along with other Spurs stuff. Not much ale on but the cider is fine. Relatively easy to get served on a match day compared to the heaving pubs on the high road. nickthefish - 23 Jun 2009 10:10 |
