the lager in this pub is of a low standard and the service by some of the staff can be quite off putting. bubble - 1 Sep 2004 19:01 |
Nice refit but staff bias towards their own friends is spoiling a potentially good pub. For maximum enjoyment get a mate a job behind the bar chris - 31 Mar 2004 15:45 |
Cracking pub, quite pricey beers but after half amillion invested on it we can afford another 10 pence. Nice atmosphere from what was a prevoius dive anonymous - 17 Mar 2004 13:56 |
Been refitted in December, all rooms knocked into one, a general tart up and even some grass (planted outside). Has breathed new life into a place that had sadly died on it's back a couple of years ago. I quite like it (except for the price of the Fosters - 20p a pint more than we're used to paying) Paul - 27 Jan 2004 13:02 |
Many of my formative years were spent in this place with Chris, Eric and John, Chris S and co and the place hasn't changed much in 16 years. A good place for a quiet pint on an afternoon and all change for a busier atmosphere in the evening. If the Camerons is still on, wear a nappy. Stu - [email protected] - 29 Oct 2003 16:52 |
