New landlord/manager since the beginning of the year, trying to resurrect the place. The owners intend to spend a lot on a refurbishment soon. At present it hosts 'walk around, pound in a glass' strippers wed & friday afternoons in a curtained off section of the pub, which for me makes up for there not being any beer worth drinking yet. Give it time. Pool table and quite a friendly place. Car park at the back. yer_barred - 13 Feb 2007 10:45 |
It's changed now. Alex and Sheena left over a year ago and the Miller family from Eastenders run it now. There are little tell - tale signs that it is going to the dogs, and the prices are high (2.50 for a courage best). It's not too nice now, when before it was quite pleasant anonymous - 18 Apr 2005 02:59 |
