Typical Wetherspoons, very busy on both floors - chips on the floor, rubbish on the tables and the er clientele.... Different beers on different floors - cheap and well kept Booze_Allen - 1 Jan 2014 15:53 |
Weekday afternoon, pub reasoanably busy, beers OK with a couple of Box brewery beers on. A few chavscum in the smoking area outside as seems to be the norm here but avoidable if you are indoors. Reasonable interor and service pretty good. PhilR - 9 Jan 2012 20:02 |
One quick pint of Bath Ales Summer's Hare before moving on to meet up with the lads. Impressive interior but as has been said already - terribly slow service. The bar staff seemed more interested in their work rotas than the customers!! A few loud punters but OK outside in the sunshine. mcroyal - 31 Jul 2011 11:54 |
Still the nicest interior of the 3 Wethersoons in the Town centre, but it suffers the 'spoons curse of not being able to get served quickly. The bar staff all seem to be working but it can take an age to get served. The other downside was that on Saturday when we were in they turned the music up too loud, too early......I know I'm just an old fuddy duddy. Decent ale selection (as expected), couple of handpump ciders (as expected), a very good daytime/early evening pub. SW6 - 5 Apr 2011 15:50 |
Pleasant enough pub in the centre of one of the most depressing town centres since I visited Chatham, pleasant staff, excellent real ale and really good (if pretty small) Five Bean Chillie. Paul_Rochdale - 4 Apr 2011 20:47 |
