| Tried visiting here last weekend to find the pub closed on a Sunday lunchtime with no sign of life. I'm not sure if it has closed for good. | I stayed at the Albion Vaults Hotel on a weekend with my friends. We had the most amazing time. The landlord was about 25, which surprised us he was so young, and he was doing a fantastic job in the pub. There was karaoke, music, dancing and none of this youngster 'go out and get drunk and fight' rubbish. The customers were aged between 30 and 80ish and they were all really friendly!!! It was exactly how pubs USED to be!! There was no trouble all weekend, the staff were very polite and friendly. The rooms upstairs were spotless and of a nice size. I would have rather gone to this hotel at �18.00 per person (yes i said �18.00!!!) than a 5* posh hotel any day! We will definately be staying again. NO doubt about that!!! A big thank you to Kasper and Em for a fantastic stay and to their Jolly Night Porter (can't remember his name) for a great time. I'd give them 20/10 for everythimg.
