| Arrived at The Three Horseshoes at lunchtime on a beautifully hot Saturday having walked along the river from North Fambridge. Friendly, cheerful, accommodating staff and a huge menu of everything from snacks to substantial meals. The food was excellent and the sevice attentive. | Agree with the review below re: charm/ambiance. But compared to so many other pubs in the locality I would say you get by far the best conditioned & served pint of Broadside or Adnams bitter here, the only other pub that competes for well kept Adnams would be The Station Arms in nearby Southminster which has to be by far the best beer pub in this part of Essex so it's high praise for the beer condition here to compare the two.
