| This is quite possibly the worst place I have ever been in and will never return after the way I was treated by one of the most repulsive doormen I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. I suffer from MS and fatigue is a major problem and you tend to fall asleep in 'inconvenient' places. So I was resting my head on BF's shoulder and fell asleep. yes I had been drinking, actually one of their very expensive/overpriced bottle of bollinger. I was then awoken by this very large intimidating doorman telling me to 'get the F@@K out as this ain't a F@@king hotel'. Calmly I apologised and explained that I had MS and this is part of the disability and we were waiting for a booked taxi. his reply was 'I don't give a F@@k, get the F@@k out' so I then started to speak the same language as him as he obviously did not understand civilised conversation, but this is frowned upon (i'll admit i should not have lowered myself to his level and should not have stuck up for myself in the slightest). This terribly ignorant gentleman could not be reasoned with and refused to let my BF speak with the manager when asked, in view of this he asked the doorman to apologise to me as i was very upset by this and was told to 'F@@k off'. | visited this venue on a friday night, qued for 40mins paid �5 fow what i am not sure, good music chill out area down stairs orderd two spirit and mixers cost �8.20 i know i am in guildford but ouch. upstairs was very crampt people pushing past every second dance area was good lots of people dancing about seemed to either be full of students or young suited people music was very chavtastic not my thing, i liked the venue itself just to prices i felt were robery especialy after queing foe such a long time for what seemed no reason thor5355 - 26 Sep 2010 00:38 |
