visited this pub whilst on holiday. very friendly village local. three handpump. harveys sussex ale in superb order. although i didnt dine food looked very appetising and an extensive menu. stayed in copthorne hotel, this pub is only a 15 minute walk and is worth a visit. lawrencesmith - 14 Oct 2013 12:12 |
Very average place with a souless feel to it, a big TV for Sky Sports, but decent Harvey's Best. Ordinary, verging on disappointing. thomashenry - 6 Aug 2009 09:33 |
Vastly improved pub and good beer. Well worth a visit. peterwarlock - 19 Sep 2008 13:44 |
Greatly improved friendly locals pub with good selection of beers. Food isn't exactly gourmet but it's wholesome and very reasonably priced. The decor seems to be constantly being improved and it's now virtually unrecognisable compared to it's former dingy appearance. BrianBlessed - 21 Jan 2008 01:10 |
