| A pub owned by the Charles Wells brewery, which stocks their own portfolio including their Youngs beers. The place was very quiet, although a small group of locals tried their best to add something different - practicing their banjo skills in the rear room. The Eagle IPA was nice enough. | The left hand bar on entering is a drinker's delight: everything focussed on the bar, mostly standing room, regulars scattered about, super-friendly bar staff. The landlord Paul and wife Sue are always delighted to chat.This is a Charles Wells pub, but one guest ale is always on, together with Bombardier.
