| Since new landlady started this place is being run into the ground. The beer is way too expensive and the food has gone from excellent to shocking!! Previous family who ran it really cared and to eat you had to book or you would never get a table. Now it's like tumbleweed blowing through the place. New landlady, swallow your pride and ask the locals why it has gone so wrong, make some simple changes to get it back to how it was, and start to rebuild your custom. | My nearest pub but visited infrequently. Pump beer premium prices but quality didn't match. It's OK but just lacks any sort of character. I'm not sure how you'd overcome that- but a decent pint at a better price might pull me in more........ sparts73 - 11 Feb 2009 10:23 |
