expensive and poncy........fantastic though. bendyboo - 14 Jan 2011 19:44 |
Decent wine at OK prices, the beer is the same as any chain pub. Currently closed for renovations but nothing has happened for over a month now... arrtwo - 31 Jul 2007 13:03 |
Went there one Friday night after Bar 38 closed (it was a work thing, don't ask) and had a much better time. Staff were chatty and friendly, and didn't attempt to close as soon as we got there, like most places in this area. fireandforget - 13 Sep 2006 13:11 |
Really nice looking bar (apart from upstarirs which is a bit suspect). Might seem a bit quiet upstairs, but downstairs is much nicer and usually busier. If you've got the money (it's expensive even for the city) then it's a nice place to relax after work. SocialDrinker - 16 Apr 2005 14:51 |
It is easy to get to the bar Friday night so makes a perfect pre session after work stop. But would never eat there. Agree with comments below. Rich Lloyd-Graham - 23 Jun 2004 18:09 |
