| Excellent food last sunday night. this hotel is a victim of previous owners/tenants but it is now well worth revisiting. there were 9 of us, we didn't book and we had a fabulous meal. 2 courses with drinks was �150 which is good value for Kangaroo, Ostrich, steak, tiger prawns etc etc the pub itself is dingy inside but dont be put off! | This pub has a bit of an identity crisis - the exterior and menu suggest a rather nice quality hotel, but the interior is a traditional pub, a bit dark, and it's not clear when you are through the door where you should go. No wonder the landlord commented 'I've had people coming in all day, turning round and going out'. Poor people, they have missed a treat. The food here is excellent, and portions are generous. | This is a great pub. Always something going on. Quiz nights pool and darts. There is even irish dancing classes on a Monday. A really friendly pub. Good food good beer and good fun. purdy - 15 Jul 2007 22:44 |
