Very friendly pub: best pint of 6X for miles around. Good range of excellent food - very well priced and definitely above normal pub standard. Staff provide a very friendly & warm welcome. strongly recommend the 6X and the landlord's curry. wardie93 - 28 Dec 2010 20:17 |
Good range of Wadworths own beers served from cooled barrels behind the bar. Good atmosphere and nice little garden and outdoor gents experience. Plenty of parking in a pretty village near the green and woodland. Food a bit on the expensive side for a standard pub menu. jobberdave - 23 Dec 2010 19:13 |
Excellent food and service - highly recommend the braised steak, the steak melted in your mouth, it was so tender and the stout gravy was delicious - really lovely LMKI - 2 Sep 2010 22:42 |
Good range of well kept beers served direct from the barrel behind the bar. Good menu with some dishes beyond the norm. The chickpea, chorizo and garlic starter was delicious but very filling when followed up with the tasty fish crumble. Service very friendly and smiley. Would definitely be on my list to go back to and worth going out of the way for - some good walks from the doorstep to work off the big lunch. NewEalingBoy - 19 Apr 2010 20:37 |
