| The pub is now under new management and incorporates a fantastic Thai restaurant called Bang Thai Dee - the food is a 10/10. Most foreign food oriented places tend to offer a terrible English selection of food and this is defiantly not the case at Bang Thai Dee. The English menu is also a 10/10 - 12oz Sirloin Steak with ANY two sides of your choice for under £9. The food served here is better than most upmarket places ive tried in Leeds at twice the price. The pub seems to have had a clean up although there is still a bit to be done. They seemed to have focused more on improving the restaurant side is this lacks the shabbyness found in the bar side. A great selection of bottled beers and ciders and they have also introduced bottled wine and hand pull ale. Its been a few years since i was here last and im pleased to see the smelly dogs have gone. I would defo go back here again but i would visit the restaurant side rather than the pub side as the food is A1 and the Thai staff are so friendly, polite and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble (despite me being quite fussy!) which is a breath of fresh air for this town.
