| They say all good things come in small packages, and this is definately true of The Sportsman. It's the best pub in the area and I would recommend it for all ages - a rare thing for pubs these days. The customers are friendly and welcoming, and I have never known there to be any fights since I have been using the pub (the landlord and regulars wouldn't stand for any trouble!) There is good selection of well kept lagers, beers, wines and soft drinks. There are regular party nights and events that are always good fun. The outdoor smokers area is particularly luxurious with tv and good cover. I have noticed one negative review of this pub, but I am sure that it has been confused with 'The Sports Bar' (The Angel) in Strood. One visit to The Spotsman and you'll be a regular!
