| Totally agree with Dunmall, this pub is unfortunately my local, I have lived here 9 years and only been brave enough to venture inside once, we had a couple of beers then a load of riff raff came in mouthing off so we cut the evening short. | AVOID - Without doubt, the roughest pub in the area. Visited three times and each time, there was fighting, often between groups. The first time, the entertainment was heckled and viciously abused all night, creating a bad atmosphere for everyone else. The evening ended with a vicous brawl outside where one persons ear was bitten off apparently. The second, a glass was thrown and people were flying in at all angles with tables and chairs being knocked everywhere. The third, there was trouble with a wedding party which involved two men wrestling each other to the ground and knocking the hell out of each other. If this was the best pub in the world besides this, I doubt I would go back. As it stands, it is a poor, basic pub with standard lagers, unfriendly staff and an intimidating atmosphere full of idiots.
